BID SUCCESSFULY RE-ELECTED

Love Hoddesdon BID Ltd over the last few weeks has been seeking to be successfuly re-elected by local businesses, both large and small, for a further five year term.

The Chairman recently advised

"It is with great delight that I can announce that Love Hoddesdon BID Ltd has successfully been re-elected for another 5 year term with a resounding 89% of the vote!

May I thank everyone involved in both the re-election campaign and in ensuring that as many businesses as possible returned their voting papers.

I would especially like to thank Tony Cox, the Love Hoddesdon BID Manager for all his efforts over the past few months. Not only has he successfully co-ordinated the campaign but he has worked tirelessly in tracking down the appropriate people within the large high street brands to ensure they were all fully briefed as to the future plans of Love Hoddesdon.

I should also like to thank John Forrester, Kev Orkian and Nicole May for their time and skill in putting together our entertaining and effective election videos…they were very helpful. Can I also thank Broxbourne Council for their unstinting support throughout this election process

I can also report that Love Hoddesdon only incurred one-off election costs of £1,500, which is a remarkable feat, particularly when you consider that other Hertfordshire BID’s have spent as much as £30,000 in seeking re-election.

Thank you to everyone who took time to vote, especially those who voted YES.

Finally, the Board of Directors are committed to the continued enhancement and development of Hoddesdon and we are looking for to the upcoming challenges and achievements.
