Calling all film-lovers! Love Hoddesdon is proud to be hosting the world’s global film festival Manhattan Short this year, on Wednesday 30th September, and tickets are available now!
Now in its 29th year, Manhattan Short brings together 10 of the best new short films made from around the world in one fantastic screening. All 10 films are eligible to be entered into next year’s Oscars and everyone attending the screening in Hoddesdon can vote for their favourite film, and favourite actor, with every vote counting towards the contest’s overall winners.
It’s a fantastic opportunity to see the work of some of the world’s best up and coming film-makers right here in Hoddesdon.
Manhattan Short takes place in over 500 venues around the world and Hoddesdon is now one of the UK venues for the first time!
The screening is organised by Love Hoddesdon BID, with the support of Hertfordshire Studios and the Hertfordshire Film Office and will take place on Wednesday 30th September at 7.30pm at Hertfordshire Studios in Brewery Road, Hoddesdon.
There will be a red carpet entrance at the Studios, and the bar will be open during the evening, with intervals during the screening.
